On the evening of December the 9th central London played host to the third ETO Christmas Drinks event, with over 50 industry folk attending. It was held at The Carpenter’s Arms, north of Goodge Street Tube station – the same pub as 2014’s meet.
The original Media Bitch™ Nina Saini, Claire Jacques of Rouge Garments and Kat Plant, formerly of Planet Earth, were early arrivals. As were ETO magazine attendees Tom Stock, Lee Schofield, Dale Bradford, Jacinta Williams, Kirsty Jennings, and Paul Smith.
Also seen partying hard: Andy Smith and David Parker of ElectraStim, Vicky of Bondatrix, Caz and Wayne Allen, plus Mick of E-Stim Systems, Tony and Seb Gonzalez of Net 1on1, Alix Fox, Scala’s Clive Gore, Harmony’s social media guru Rose, and boss Jamie O’Sullivan, Monique and Chloe of Nexus, James from LondonX magazine, Lulu from Rocks-Off, Kate and Kerri from ABS, Jules from Lovehoney, Bradley from Creative Conceptions, Becky from System Jo, Darker’s Mike Wallace, and many more.
With folks from the BBC having to pass through the ETO area to reach their own, and a premium on space generally, everyone got a warm reception. Cosy even; very much in keeping with the friendly holiday season.
There were complimentary bottles of Prosecco and a delicious array of finger food on offer to guests plus ETO’s Jacinta with trays of free shots to anyone who didn’t appear to be drinking fast enough. We say ‘free’ but there was a cost, and it could be seen on social media later that night… Our thanks to everyone who attended: it was great to see you all.
