Big Teaze Toys offered its Twitter followers the chance to win a Gold Label Collector’s Edition Duckie during this year’s Oscars ceremony. Twitter followers were asked which celebrity most resembled which Duckie in the Big Teaze Toys collection. Four winning tweets were chosen and each of the four mentioned celebrities – Johnny Depp (Pirate Duckie), Jack Black (Devil Duckie), Mickey Rourke (Bondage Duckie) and Natalie Portman (Paris Duckie) – received a complimentary Duckie of their own.

The Twitter contest is part of Big Teaze Toys’ social media pilot programme which also includes a newly launched Facebook page and there are plans for a branded blog and YouTube channel.

Tony Levine, Big Teaze Toys President and Chief Designer, said: “I love being able to communicate directly with our fan base and Duckie lovers. It’s all about making them happy. In more ways than one. We get inspired when they’re having fun.”
