Doc Johnson creates one-off ‘Donnie Dong’ for Donnie Wahlberg

Posted: February 8, 2016

Doc Johnson recently created a one-of-a-kind gift for US singer/actor Donnie Wahlberg to give to his wife, the radio and television personality Jenny McCarthy – a limited edition Platinum Premium Silicone dong with a 3D image of Donnie himself. Wahlberg is perhaps best known as a founding member of boy band New Kids on the Block, but he has also starred in the Saw films, The Sixth Sense, Dreamcatcher, and Righteous Kill, and also appeared in the World War II mini-series Band of Brothers.

“Our product development team was thrilled to be able to work with Donnie and his team,” said Doc Johnson COO/CCO, Chad Braverman. “Our team has been working to improve our 3D capabilities and this was the perfect assignment to show what we are capable of.”

When Donnie presented Jenny McCarthy with this unique gift live on her ‘Dirty, Sexy, Funny’ radio show on Sirius XM Radio, Jenny immediately read the note Donnie had written on the box: “For my lover, my friend, my lifelong companion… like our love, there are no limits to where this can go. Love, Donnie.”

Created on Doc Johnson’s eight acre campus located in North Hollywood, the Donnie Dong is a fully operational pleasure product. Doc Johnson says that not only was the best hypoallergenic silicone used for the 3D dong, it was inspired by the company’s Platinum Premium Silicone The Original 8” Vibrating and included an easy twist control and strong, multi-speed vibrations.

“When I called into ‘Dirty, Sexy, Funny’ to discuss Jenny’s ‘Donnie Dong’ I told her that Oompa Loompas create magical products in our Doc Johnson dildo factory,” said Sunny Rodgers, Doc Johnson’s marketing director. “But all kidding aside, it is truly amazing what our team here was able to create using photographs of Donnie. 3D imaging is definitely the wave of the future and being able to make the Donnie Dong for Donnie to personally give to Jenny was an honour for us.”

#DonnieDong also gained a lot of social media traction and mainstream exposure.
