Darker Enterprises has announced that it is now distributing the Orion range of toys in the UK. This will see Darker offering its customers over 800 new lines, including Orion’s iconic Waver range of rabbits and its Close2You, Javida and Sextreme collections.
To showcase the new lines, Darker has produced a full colour 164-page A5-sized catalogue called Erotic Adult Toys Magazine. Images of every Orion product, along with a text description, are included in the publication alongside Darker’s own brands, such as Just 4 U and Original Blue Pill, and other lines it distributes such as System Jo, ManZone and Liquid Gold. Retailers can order additional copies of the catalogue for their own use and there is a blank space on the back cover for them to include their contact details. Price lists are supplied separately. Trade discounts are described as “generous”.
Darker’s Mike Wallace explained what prompted this move: “We needed new products and while we can create our own it’s a long process. We met Orion at eroFame last year and introduced their lines to our own shops in December – they performed very well so we decided to roll them out to our wholesale customers.”
Although Orion is based in Germany it wholesales products to over 70 other countries and – like Darker, which runs the 100-strong Private Shops chain – it also has retail units of its own, over 200 in Orion’s case. “Orion has always wanted to enter the British market so it was a logical step for the biggest names in the UK and Germany to work together,” Wallace added.
