Coquette International preview their 2013 collection

Coquette International has released its 2013 main collection in anticipation of the New Year. The new collection is focussed on colour blocking and contrasting elements of softer lilac, nude and neutral tones, floral patterns and lace against bolder yet complimentary elements.

According to the company, 2013’s offering includes a wider range of styles, and an expanded plus section due to consumer demand.

Several designs in the collection feature outerwear inspired crocheted aspects with raised motifs offering texture and depth to the line.

“In this collection we wanted showcase pieces geared toward colour,” senior designer Elaine Carson said. “There is an increased amount of stretch lace prints and patterns which we have paired with solid tones to bring out textures, creating definition to those pieces. This is a fun and vibrant collection that we expect will pop in-stores and do well for our retailers.”

The brand’s popular new molded cups feature throughout the range on babydolls and bustiers, and traditional corsetry with flexible boning and structuring is back. The range of babydolls has also been expanded with greater variety with differing lengths between the styles. The collection also features a new twist on animal print with all-black leopard print mesh.

“Our 2013 book is upscale with a boutique appeal,” said Marcus Horea, vice president of sales and marketing. “Our team has put together a look that speaks to the Coquette brand and continues to move ahead in their designs. We are very excited to reveal our newest catalog!”

The line is scheduled for release in early February. UK retailers can contact distributor, Blue Moon Lingerie Ltd, at [email protected] for more information.
