Clonezone expands into Europe

Clonezone has announced that it is launching two new ecommerce stores for its German and Austrian customers, giving residents of those countries convenient access to its exclusive brands and product ranges without high shipping costs and lead times.

The launch of www.clonezone.de and www.clonezone.at will take place on 8th May 2017 and will coincide with the company’s 35th year in business. Having originally launched in London in 1982, Clonezone has become an internationally known gay institution with six physical stores, an online store, a wholesale division, and a large social media following.

“We are excited to announce the launch of our online retail operations in Europe,” said Nigel Glenn, store and central operations manager for Clonezone. “As Clonezone continues to expand we are in search of strategic opportunities that fit our brand portfolio. Following on from the success of our retail stores in Berlin and Vienna, these two territories were the natural choice for the extension of the CZ brand online. We look forward to being able to serve the gay community across Europe through our ambitious roll out plans for 2017.”

Clonezone will be commemorating its 35th birthday with various events and promotions throughout the year.
