Fetish download site Clips4Sale.com has contacted “Ted” creator Seth MacFarlane regarding the licensing the naughty teddy as a mascot for their plushie sites, according to entertainment news website, TMZ.com. The live-action feature film earned a reported $54.1 million during its opening weekend at the box office and the character has become a favourite among people with a sexual fetish for stuffed toys, known as “plushies”.
“Not since Alf has there been this kind of excitement over a stuffed animal,” read the letter. “We are very serious and would like to engage in talks with you at your earliest convenience.”
“Ted”, which stars Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, Joel Mchale, Giovanni Ribisi and MacFarlane as the voice of Ted, is currently showing in cinemas in the USA, with the UK release scheduled for August 1st.
Macfarlane has yet to respond to Clips4Sale’s enquiry.
