This month sees the UK release of JapanAnime’s biggest selling series internationally, Taboo Charming Stepmother, from Scala. The first instalment, entitled Unfulfilled Wife, focuses on the adventures of a frustrated wife who one day receives a phone call from a mysterious man promising her satisfaction. Those who have seen previous JapanAnime releases will expect extreme storylines, but many will still be shocked by the conclusion to the plot.
