CalExotics unveils Luxe touch-sensitive vibe

Posted: May 18, 2016

CalExotics has launched Luxe, a touch-sensitive vibrator that responds to the body’s touch. CalExotics describes Luxe as one of the most innovative sexual health products developed and it is one of the company’s most anticipated products of 2016.

Susan Colvin, founder and CEO of CalExotics, said: “This technology is something we’ve been working on for some time. My team and I sought to create something unique, which would allow every user to have a completely customised experience. This functionality is not seen in other toys and is another technological leap for the pleasure products industry.”

Luxe is made of body safe silicone and features two strategically placed motors. The touch-sensitive functionality allows the speed of penetration to control the journey; the deeper the user strokes, the stronger the intensity. In addition to the touch sensors, Luxe offers 10 functions of vibration and its flat base makes it harness compatible and it can be attached to any flat surface. The flanged base also allows it to be used as an anal toy.

Luxe, which has a one-year warranty, is packaged in a retail-friendly box; allowing users to get an inside look at the product before they purchase. Jackie White, executive vice president of CalExotics, said: “Luxe is a perfect product for the retail environment. Its packaging is upscale and tells a story. The product itself is mind-blowing once you touch it. I recommend having a tester section or highlighting our demonstration videos to help sell Luxe.”

To aid in the merchandising process and to help convey the features and benefits of Luxe, CalExotics is offering a free point of purchase display. Retailers are encouraged to contact the manufacturer for more information. CalExotics is also offering an in-depth training on the CalExotics Institute – visit http://calexotics.talentlms.com/ for details – and detailed product information, images and demonstration videos can be found at www.calexotics.com
