Ann Summers intends to revolutionise mobile dating with the launch of its new Rabbit app. The company predicts that with its unique features, brand partnerships and multi-channel marketing support, Rabbit will become the largest dating app in the UK.
Ann Summers claim Rabbit is the first app to have listened to the feedback that users have shared about their likes and dislikes of existing dating apps, and this has been used to create a series of unique functions within the app ‘that have the signature Ann Summers twist’.
Ann Summers CEO Jacqueline Gold said: “I am extremely excited to announce that Ann Summers are delving into the dating world – with 40% of our current database being single, we want to help create the next generation of couples through our dating app.”
The company says that all user information will be secure and never shared, and the app works using ‘fuzzy logic’, meaning the user’s exact location is ever stored by the app or disclosed to other users. Sexual health awareness charity Brook is an official supporter and will provide expert advice to users through the Ask Brook 24/7 tool and other partnerships with key leisure and hospitality brands will provide exclusive offers and help to create perfect dates. The Rabbit app was launched on January 25th and more information can be found at www.rabbitdatingapp.com
