AITA will be holding a debate at its AGM on September 29th at 5pm in the Hercules Pillars, Holborn, regarding the loophole recently discovered in the Video Recordings Act.
AITA has written to the Department of Culture Media and Sport requesting clarification on the law and also consultation on any new laws being prepared. If this topic affects you AITA is urging you to attend its forthcoming AGM.
The trade body has stated that while it appears businesses are able to breach the Video Recordings Act for a limited period, AITA will not provide support to any members who fall foul of the law in the process.
