Loving Joy was launched in 2009 with the aim of bringing a modern twist to the industry’s best selling products. The firm says that the Jessica Rabbit range has had the most impact and the packaging imagery has now been made into POS posters with the strapline ‘Which Jessica are you?’

Net 1on1 was started by Dean Farebrother in October 2000 as a women-friendly website called 1on1sexshop.co.uk. This turned into sextoys.co.uk and wholesale and dropship business 1on1wholesale.co.uk. The company has since serviced over one million trade and retail customers.
“Sometimes I wonder how I got here,” said Farebrother, who still owns Net 1on1. “I think it goes to show that with good suppliers, a can-do attitude and sheer determination you can succeed in anything. I saw a gap in the market for both retail and wholesale and I did my best to fulfil those gaps the best way possible. I hope I opened up the wholesale market to give little guys like I was a better chance in succeeding and by doing so making the adult industry a better place with higher standards.”
